Dr. Kris Novinger

Dr. Kris Novinger

Dr. Kris Novinger is from a small community just outside of Pittsburgh, PA. She has moved steadily southward since then, graduating from West Virginia University in 1993, then moving on to the University of Tennessee. She graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Her professional interests are oncology, feline medicine, ophthalmology, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. In her free time, she fits in as much pottery and jewelry making, exercising, and gourmet cooking as she can. She is an avid fan of all Pittsburgh sports teams, as well as her beloved college teams, WVU and UT. She has been married to Dr. Stewart Novinger since May 1997.

Dr. Chelsea Atchley

Dr. Chelsie Atchley

My name is Dr. Chelsie Atchley. As an associate veterinarian, I enjoy improving the lives of my pet patients as well as preserving the human-animal bond for my clients. In 2013, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and health sciences from Tennessee Technological University. In 2018, I earned a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University- College of Veterinary Medicine. As a Knoxville native, I spend my free time enjoying family, including my beagle mix and two cats.

Dr. Mike Fanikos

Dr. Michael Fanikos

Hi, I’m Michael Fanikos, a veterinarian here at ORVH. I like educating people about their pet’s health needs and, when they get sick, trying to find the underlying cause. In my free time, I like spending time with my family, reading, going to the YMCA, and taking care of my cherry trees and my blueberry and blackberry bushes. We have two dogs and one cat.

I graduated from the University of Tennessee’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 and am happy to be part of the ORVH family! It’s wonderful to get to know our pets and their families while helping them live happy, healthy lives. When I’m not here, I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, and two very spoiled cats.

Sierra Pack

Sierra Pack

Hello, I’m Sierra. I am a veterinary assistant here at ORVH. I’ve worked here since 2018. I have worked in the kennels, helped in reception, and am currently an assistant. I enjoy helping around the hospital wherever it is needed, and I also enjoy being a comfort to you and your pets in your times of need. I have been AKC CPR-certified. And Dr. Kris said, “Good job,” which is even better. I have three cats and a dog, who are my best friends. In my free time, you can find me reading, traveling, and arguing with my corgi, Kyo.

Bethany Wright

Bethany Wright

I’m Bethany, and I am one of the receptionists here at Oak Ridge Veterinary Hospital. I have been with ORVH since 2014. I enjoy helping our patients and clients when they come in. I have a zoo of my own at home that consists of our two dogs and five cats. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren, hiking, and traveling every chance I get.

Miranda Ellis

Myranda Ellis

Myranda is a veterinary technician who specializes in exotic animal medicine and loves to be in surgery. Myranda believes in caring for each and every patient that comes in as if it were her own. She loves learning and growing in the veterinary field by doing research and getting involved with difficult cases. Myranda has worked in various clinics in Tennessee and South Carolina since the age of 17. She is Feline Fear Free and C.E.T. Dental Ambassador certified. In her spare time, Myranda enjoys riding horses, hiking, and caring for her various exotic animals.

Donna Long

Donna Long

I am Donna, a veterinary assistant at ORVH. I enjoy learning about new treatments and training methods to help clients with their pets. I currently compete in dog sports, including nose work, dock diving, fast cat, and PSA, with my Belgian Malinois Sabre. I also own four German Shepherds and two cats. My hobbies include hiking, paddleboarding, fishing, and dog training sports.

Jessica Pack

Jessica Pack

My name is Jessica Pack, more commonly known as Jess. I am a veterinary assistant. I’ve been in vet med for about 13 years, after spending 2 years in community college. I love the veterinary field, specifically phlebotomy, and I love taking care of animals of all shapes and sizes. In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my family and loving my house full of pets.

Lacey Dye

I’m Lacey. I have been a veterinary assistant for 4 years. My philosophy is the belief that every animal deserves to be treated with kindness. My hobbies are spending time with my kids and my three dogs. I also love dog sports and reading.

Sarah Doak

Sarah Doak

My name is Sarah Doak, and I have been a receptionist at ORVH since 2019. I really enjoy the rapport between all the staff members. I live in Knoxville with my cats. I enjoy studying about cults and serial killers, especially Jonestown and the Donner Party. And I also enjoy watching unusual death videos on YouTube. Surprisingly, my favorite musical is Sweeney Todd.

Elizabeth Milito

Elizabeth (Beth) Milito

My name is Elizabeth Milito, and I am a veterinary assistant. I enjoy helping clients learn new ways to care for their pets. I graduated from Mountain Empire Community College, but grew up on a dairy farm in VA, caring for horses, cows, and other animals. I enjoy salsa dancing and musical theatre. I also enjoy reading books and singing when I can. I live here in Oak Ridge with my husband, Mason, and our dog, cat, and gecko.

Hi, my name is Lisa Greene. I have been a receptionist here at ORVH since March 12, 1991. I enjoy helping the animals and clients. I have several animals and enjoy raising the orphan babies that come in.

I’m Kristy, and I am a veterinary assistant here at ORVH. I love all animals thoroughly. I have an Associate of Science Degree, and I love the outdoors.

Hi, I’m Allie, and I am the practice manager here at Oak Ridge Veterinary Hospital. I have worked in vet med since 2007 in various positions and establishments. I have been at Oak Ridge Veterinary Hospital since 2014. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, kayaking, reading, and UT sports.

Dalton Vann

Dalton Vann

Hi, I am Dalton. As ORVH’s lead kennel tech, I make sure all animals that are staying with us are well looked after. I enjoy helping others in every way I can. I have over five years of experience working with all sorts of animals. I have a son named Sylas and a wife, Kimberly. Keeping all pets happy and healthy is my main priority here at ORVH.

Isaac Thomas

Hi, I’m Isaac, and I am the head veterinary technician here at ORVH. I’ve been in vet med for over 13 years and enjoy being able to make a difference in the lives of the animals we treat, whether it be routine or emergency, as well as building relationships with our clients. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Whitney, going to the gym, playing basketball and football, visiting new breweries, and drinking craft beer. We have five pets: our three cats, Mojito, Remy, and Tana, and our two Great Pyrenees, Hazel and Hendrick.
